The shell and blades of the drum are fabricated from 3/16” AR steel. Dished head and mixing blades are fabricated from 1/4” AR steel.

half 1/4" AR 200 Steel
The blades and shell in the front two (2) sections of the drum are fabricated from 1/4” AR steel. The rest of the drum is of 3/16” AR steel. The front half 1/4” steel option gives you thicker steel in the high wear areas of the drum. Get the durability and long-life of an all 1/4” drum while saving money and overall weight with this option. Available on rear discharge mixers.

The shell and blades of the drum are fabricated from our specialty 1/4” AR steel.

3/16" AR 400 Steel
The shell and blades of the drum are fabricated from 3/16” AR 400 steel which has a higher through-hardness and a higher surface hardness than AR 200. Get 65-70% more wear out of an AR 400 drum than an AR 200 drum. Front discharge drums with this option include a ¼” AR 200 roller track reinforcing shell.
